“This is a long process, but this is the process for continual improvement of the University.” – Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President.

The University Top Management together with the Deans, Program Heads, Executive Directors, and Directors gathered at Busalian Hall for the conduct of Special Management Review focusing on the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Accreditation, January 26.

Spearheaded by UA Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), the Special Management Review is part of the quality assurance processes of the University where recommendations of the AACCUP will be presented, reviewed, and discussed to determine the actions taken and plans of action of every college as well as the unit or person in-charge for each recommendation.

Dr. Crespo on his message said that he is glad to have an opportunity to get ready for the different legs of accreditation that the various programs offered in the University will undergo this year.

“Aside from satisfying the requirements and recommendations of the AACCUP, it is also our target that for this day we should have finalized the number of programs that we have to submit for accreditation this year particularly those whose grace period or validity period will lapse this year,” he further stated.

Dr. Crespo also welcomed Prof. Marmon Q. Pagunsan as the new Director of QAU and recognized the hard work of Dr. Dolorosa M. Pajarillo, former QAU Director, as she assumes her new position as the Director of Continuing Education and Training Service (CETS). /IU
