After his ten months stay in the academe, Luigi Albino, Italian Exchange Student under the American Field Service-Intercultural Programs Philippines (AFS-IPP), officially bids farewell after completing his Senior High School at UA-Laboratory High School (LHS), Main Campus.

On the special graduation ceremony organized by UA-LHS at the Busalian Hall last June 7, 2024, Albino who was accompanied by his foster parents, was conferred with his medal, certificates, and diploma, that he earned as he ventured through the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Strand.

Albino also took his Pledge of Loyalty and Alumni Pledge with Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, as the presiding officer.

In his message, the Italian student expressed, “I am happy because I am going back and I am going to see my friends and family, but I am also sad because I am going to miss everybody here and who knows whenever I will come back to the Philippines. I will miss my family, I will miss my classmates, my teachers and everybody that I know.”

AFS-IPP-Antique and International Affairs Unit also expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to house an exchange student as it will help the school and students in enriching intercultural knowledge, awareness and cultural exposure.

Teachers, Staff, the Grade 12 STEM Targaryen students, and Senior Scouts were also present during the ceremony where the UA-LHS showed their love and gratitude to Albino through a video presentation.
