Dr. Runato A. Basañes, Executive Director for Student Affairs and Services, represented and received the award for UA during the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drug Strategy (PADS) 2024 Innovative Awards for Higher Education, Regional Level Awarding, held at Robinsons Jaro Activity Center, Iloilo City, April 23.

Seven (7) Higher Education Institutions participated in the said contest, where UA placed second next to Capiz State University (CapSU). Filamer Christian University also made it to the top 3, and will represent Western Visayas together with UA and CapSU in the national level.
