United Nations Day, celebrated every 24th of October each year, marks the anniversary of the creation of the United Nations (UN) in 1945. This day highlights the UN’s mission of promoting peace, security, human rights, and development around the world.
The UN is an international organization that brings together 193 member states to address world problems – prevent, and resolve conflicts.
May we, in the University, continue to carry out the significance of this celebration and help in any way that we can to maintain a peaceful, secure, and respectful community where violence would not foster.
Happy UN Day, mga Kasubay!
