The University of Antique through ExperTiSE, UA’s collaborative project with Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Integrated Research Centers – UA Centralized Analytical Testing Laboratory (IRC-CATL), conducted a two-day training and workshop on various areas: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Packaging and Labeling, and Business and Marketing to the workers and administrators of the cooperating agency, Pandan Multipurpose Cooperative (PMPC), last October 15-16, 2024 in Pandan, Antique.

The trainings on the abovementioned areas are part of the goals of the DOST – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) ExperTiSE Project: Food Upgrading and Development (FUD) of PMPC.

Spearheading the training were UA-DOST ExperTiSE project proponents: Asst. Prof. Jessebel V. Gadot (Project leader), Ms. Danica Marie Aposaga, Ms. Jemaica Labus, Mr. Risty Clent Aquito, and Ms. Valerie Joy Naviamos.
