
University of Antique recognizes its IT-trained employees who played a crucial role in operating and manning the Canvassing Computer System (CCS) across the province, including various municipalities, during the May 2025 Midterm Election.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., on his message expressed how proud he is and the whole community that the Commission on Elections chose to partner with UA especially in assisting in the computerization of the election.
“This is something that we must be proud of. This is something that is not heard but you know… we are happy that UA is contributing to the conduct of a peaceful and honest election.,” he further stated.
Alongside Dr. Crespo, Engr. Roy Vera Cruz, Director of Resiliency and Futures Thinking Unit who also served as Antique Repair Support Hub Director, honored the 40 CCS Operator and CCS Technical Support together with the DESO- Technical Support Staff during the flag raising ceremony today, May 19.
