To promote and support overall well-being and to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment, the University of Antique through the Guidance Unit conducted a Mental Health First Aid Training for Administrative Employees at Tiripunan Hall today, June 27.

With Dr. Panganiban as trainer, the employees were introduced to Mental Health and Common Mental Health Conditions including the signs and symptoms, how to respond, and when to refer, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Action Plan and Simulation.

The training aimed to equip the employees, as Mental Health First aiders, with knowledge, skills and confidence to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health challenges, to provide initial support and intervention, and to reduce stigma.
