
Capping-off the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration, the University of Antique together with Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) host PaghinUn-Anon lecture series titled “Katungod kag Pagrespeto” at Tiripunan and Busali-an Hall, September 30, 2025.
Anchored to this year’s theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan,” the discussion participated by students, faculty, and staff, will revolve around topics including the Safe Spaces (RA 11313), Anti-Red Tape Authority, Students Rights, Academic Freedom, Code of Ethics (RA 6713), Work Ethics, and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, on his message emphasized how the lecture series as something that speaks directly to the heart of who the Kasubay community noting that noting that the topics are not abstract but real issues that impact the daily lives and interactions within the academe.
“May this paghinUn-Anon strengthen our commitment to serve with integrity, uphold rights with courage, and honor our calling with compassion,” he added as he further expressed his hope that the participants may leave the venue with warmth in their heart, a renewed sense of respect, responsibility, and resilience as members of UA and as civil servants of the nation.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Human Resource Unit, Gender and Development (GAD), Center for Human Rights and Peace Education, and Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
