Preparing the new Kasubay to tackle the academic year’s challenges head-on, the Guidance Unit initiated the “Survivor’s Toolkit: Coping with the Demands of Academic Life,” a symposium to assist the first-year transferee students in addressing the obstacles of academic life, at Tiripunan Hall today, September 25, 2025.

The Survivor’s Toolkit aims to enhance the mental well-being, create successful coping methods, and assist students in handling the stresses associated with academic duties, through sessions that covers subjects like managing stress, organizing time, building resilience, and utilizing available mental health resources.

Today’s participants are from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), College of Teacher Education (CTE), and Laboratory High School (LHS).

Transferee and first-year students from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Maritime Studies (CMS), College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), and College of Management and Governance (CMG) are scheduled to take part in the same symposium on September 29, 2025.
