The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) named University of Antique as 2nd Best Agency in 2024 Budget Utilization among the State Colleges and Universities in the Visayas Region.

As per the 2024 Budget ng Bayan Monitor Agency Performance Review published by DBM, UA received a rating of 4.80 out of 5 or Very Satisfactory. DBM also cited UA’s commendable financial performance as the academe achieved 99.7% for both their Obligation and Disbursement.

Among the locally funded projects under the Higher Education Program that contributed to this achievement as listed by the DBM are the Capacity Development on Futures Thinking, Tulong Dunong Program, Procurement of Maritime Virtual and Augmented Reality Laboratory, Development of Maritime e-Learning Management System, Completion of the Integrated Research and Development Laboratory 6. Construction of Food Processing Centers in Tibiao Campus, and the Construction of Food Processing Centers in Hamtic Campus.

This recognition shows UA’s exemplary financial stewardship ensuring that resources are used with integrity, accountability, and transparency as the academe continues to work towards transforming more lives and building communities.
