The San Jose District Jail was recognized as one of the seven (7) semi-finalists in the National Search for Best CEST Community Semi-finalists and as Sustainable Human Resource Development Awardee during the 2025 NSTW held at Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

University of Antique (UA), as the Lead Implementing Agency of the 2025 Best Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) Community in the national level, extends its warmest and sincerest gratitude to the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for this extraordinary recognition.

This prestigious honor, bestowed upon our project β€œHolistic Opportunities and People’s Empowerment (HOPE) in BJMP San Jose through CEST,” is a shining testament to the unyielding partnership between UA and DOST, and a well-deserved tribute to the tireless efforts and dedication of our remarkable faculty, staff, and partners. We are deeply humbled by the trust and confidence placed in the University of Antique to spearhead this life-changing initiative. The CEST program is a beacon of hope, bringing science, technology, and innovation to the doorsteps of those who need it most. We take pride in contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic growth of our region, empowering persons deprived of liberty, and inspiring positive change.

We pledge to further fortify our collaboration with DOST, ensuring the continued success, sustainability, and expansion of the HOPE-CEST project, and exploring new frontiers of innovation and service.

Thank you once again, DOST, for this extraordinary recognition. We are honored and motivated to do more!
