
Another proud moment for the University of Antique: 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨 won 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the Tuklas Talino, besting other young leaders from across the universities in the country, during the 47th YMCA National Congress of College Students and 27th YMCA National Campus Club Advisers’ Seminar Workshop at Senior Mess, Teachers’ Camp in Baguio City.
The event, held from December 6 to 9, 2025, was attended by University of Antique Student Government (UASG) officers, Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), and college/campus governors, who competed in the different contest categories, namely Debate, Essay Writing, and On-the-Spot Drawing, under the guidance of Prof. Wilma Fe Vego, Director for Student Organizations and the present OIC Director of the UA Cultural Unit.
