
University of Antique inks a Memorandum of Understanding with Wadhwani Foundation during the ceremonial signing held at the Busalian Hall, January 21, 2026.
The newly solidified partnership will strengthen entrepreneurship education, promote innovation, and contribute to sustainable job creation in the province through formally introducing the Foundation and provide students and faculty with access to free, world-class entrepreneurship tools, training, and global networks through the Wadhwani Entrepreneur Network (WEN) Program.
WEN was first introduced in the TPREN1 (Technopreneurship) course last semester. In the next semester, it will be fully integrated into TPREN1 as a course requirement. Students must complete WEN and earn a certificate in order to pass the course.
The Wadhwani Foundation is an international non-government organization operating in the Philippines, with headquarters in Bengaluru, India, and Los Altos, California. It focuses on a simple, powerful mission of accelerating job growth and enabling millions to earn a family-sustaining wage and lead a dignified life.
UA was represented by Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, while Wadhwani Foundation was represented by Mr. Lucrecio D. Delgado Jr., SEA Regional Director. Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice-president for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, Vice-president for Research, Extension, and Innovation; and Dr. John C. Amar, Dean of the College of Computing and Information Sciences; Prof. Jennelyn A. Omadio, Director, International Affairs Unit; Prof. John Jowil Orquia, together with CCIS faculty served as witnesses.
