Congratulations to 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐬 and 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 from the Tario-Lim Memorial Campus Laboratory High School (TLMC-LHS) for winning 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐓𝐀) – 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 held at the West Visayas State University (WVSU) – Research and Development Center.

Along with the LHS team were Kenrich Iden Española and Jan Vic Arguelles, and pair Marichu Lapesora and Kate Laurence Alojipan of the College of Teacher Education who competed in the Tertiary Category, respectively.

Moreover, Althea Delos Santos, Raiza Mae Dolorica, Jezah Grace Moscoso, and Dexter Estolloso were among the research presenters during the Research Fair, with Ms. Millie Flor Adam and Ms. Rizza Mae Anduyan as coaches.

Also present during the event was Dr. Porferio S. Bangcaya, Campus Director of the UA-TLMC.

The 20th BIOTA-WV Regional Quiz Bowl Competition and Research Fair held from March 6-7, 2026, featured Biology-related contests and research presentations which gathered participants from schools across the region.
