
Reaffirming the academe’s commitment to quality higher education, University of Antique President Dr. Godelyn G. Hisole joined higher education leaders nationwide in celebrating the 32nd Anniversary of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) during its culminating activity held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Metro Manila, on June 10, 2026.
The celebration featured the State of Higher Education Address delivered by CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis and the ceremonial signing of the guidelines on the release of Free Higher Education deficiency funds for State Universities and Colleges, reaffirming CHED’s commitment to sustaining accessible, equitable, and quality higher education.
Dr. Hisole also met with fellow stakeholders and academic leaders, including CHED Chair Agrupis, Commissioner Desiderio Apag III, Commissioner Michelle Aguilar Ong, Commissioner Myrna Mallari, and Senator Lorna Regina “Loren” Legarda, who delivered a message of support during the event that brought together stakeholders from government, academe, and international partner institutions in advancing knowledge for nation-building.
