The Province of Antique and the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (OPDRRMO) Antique conferred a Citation of Merit to the University of Antique during the Awarding Ceremony in celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, at EBJ Freedom Park, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique on July 28.

Engr. Roy Vera Cruz, Director of the Resiliency and Futures Thinking Unit (RFTU), personally received the award that recognizes the academe’s invaluable contribution, unwavering commitment, and exemplary service in strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), promoting disaster resilience, and advancing emergency preparedness and response in the province.
