To equip first-year and transferee students with survival kit in navigating college life, the Guidance Unit initiated the Survivors Toolkit 2026: Start Strong, Stay Strong, at the Paghi-UsA Hall today, September 22.

The symposium featured talks from UA alumnus Engr. Elnie B. Arbuñol of the College of Engineering and Architecture and retired professor Marilu B. Baculna, who shared concepts, experiences, and practical advice to help students adapt to the demands and challenges of college life.

Participants for today’s session included students from the College of Engineering and Architecture and the College of Computer and Information Sciences, while students from the College of Industrial Technology are scheduled to participate this afternoon.

The second batch of participants is scheduled to undergo the same symposium on September 29.
