Thenamaris Philippines commenced its two-day cadetship selection at the University of Antique’s (UA) College of Maritime Studies (CMS) today, October 15, 2026, to identify and recruit qualified cadets from the college.

Thenamaris representatives Capt. Hernan Santo Tomas and Capt. Sherwin Bacolcol are leading the selection process, which aims to assess aspiring maritime cadets for potential opportunities to pursue careers in the international maritime industry.

Through its Dean, Capt. Luis V. Garfin III, CMS expressed its appreciation to Thenamaris Philippines for its continued trust and partnership in preparing the next generation of Filipino maritime professionals.

This marks the third time the company has visited the university to conduct cadetship selection, reflecting its sustained partnership with UA and continued interest in recruiting qualified maritime cadets from the college and developing them into competent, disciplined, and industry-ready future seafarers.

It also reinforces CMS’ commitment to providing students with valuable opportunities for professional development, cadetship placement, and future employment in the global maritime sector.
