The University of Antique (UA) KasUbAy Debate Team is advancing to the championship round of MIC ON: A Youth Discourse on Local Governance, the DILG VI Regional Debate Competition, after securing their spot during the semi-finals today, October 13, 2026.

Adding to the team’s achievement, Kent Joshua P. Udani was named Best Speaker, while Matthew P. Banzon earned the Best Debater award.

The team is set to compete in the championship round on October 26 at SM City Iloilo, where they will once again defend their stand on local governance.
