Embracing inclusivity, Rhyan Villanueva, a 3rd year Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) student gave a real-time sign language interpretation during the Dagyaw 2025 Open Government Townhall Meeting.

For over two hours, Villanueva’s real-time interpretation showcased his dedication, skills, and commitment to bringing the government services closer to individuals with special needs. This marks the first time that the academe embedded sign language interpretation in its program.
