In pursuit of Academic Excellence anchored to quality assurance, the Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Comm) and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (AB Psych) programs under College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) undergo Online Accreditation Survey Visit conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), September 6-8.

At the Exit Conference Cum Closing Program, Dr. Niño B. Corpuz, Head Accreditor of AB Psychology and BA Communication commended the faculty of the two programs for their passion and hard work, as well as gave his feedback and observations especially on the areas of improvement.

“May you continue your journey as a provider of responsive, relevant, and inclusive advanced higher education in the country,” he further stated.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, stated that the outcome of this accreditation means more effort in the part of the University as the race for excellence has no finish line. He also delivered his words of commitment saying, “In behalf of University of Antique, I give my word that we will honor all the recommendations that the team has given.”

The programs undergo accreditation to ensure that the academe complies with the minimum requirements set by AACCUP. The official result of the survey visit shall be forwarded to UA as soon as confirmed./IAP
