“The University of Antique is proud of you, Class Masikap; I am one with your Dean, Program Head, Instructors and parents in saying that we are very very proud of you,” – Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., University President.

One hundred seventy-nine (179) fourth year Criminology interns from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), were pinned with their ranks and designations during the BUnlAw 2024 at Paghiusa Hall today, March 12.

Dr. Crespo, in his message, reminded the interns to develop their mental toughness which is more important than physical toughness because it will determine their success.

“You do not just surrender, despite the difficulties, despite the trials, despite the hardship, sige man gihapon… that is mental toughness,” he further stated.

He also posed a challenge to the cadets and cadettes to embody their class name and work hard to surpass the previous batch’s Criminologists Licensure Examination rating.

“Make the people sitting at your back proud of you, amu ra ang tuod tuod nga pamunlaw, when you pass your board exam.”

Class Masikap, which is composed of 74 cadettes and 105 cadets, will have their internship in CCJE’s partner agencies such as the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
