Faculty members and students from the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), led by Dr. Jhetro Royce E. Espartero, participated in the 1st Smart-Tech Expo for Criminology Innovations held at Northern Iloilo State University – Victorino Salcedo Sara Campus on May 7-8, 2026.

With the theme, β€œAdvancing Criminology through Innovation, Technology, and Collaboration,” the expo showcased various technology-driven advancements in the field of criminology and public safety.

Organized by the NISU College of Criminal Justice Education in collaboration with Tarlac State University, the first-ever tech expo gathered participants, innovators, and experts with the shared goal of fostering academic and professional collaboration while promoting innovation-driven learning.
