Raise your banner high, Kasubays!

More than one hundred students and coaches composing the University of Antique (UA) delegation will contend against 11 other State Universities in Western Visayas on RASUC VI Culture and Arts Conference and Festival 2024 hosted by Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, March 23-25.

A total of 1,075 delegates will compete on 22 contest categories in the 3-day event with the theme, “Bidlisiw: Paghilom, Pagbangon, at Pagsulong.”

In the opening program held at Bacolod City College today, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and President of Batangas State University: National Engineering University, expressed his hope that the Culture and Arts will be an inspiration for the revival of our nation as Culture and Arts serves as the soul that gives color, serves as voice, and gives identity to each University and even to the whole nation.

“Kaya sana ito ang magiging daan ng pagkakaisa nating lahat, ang pagbibigay ng kahalagahan sa totoong kulay, sa totoong tingkad ng kulay ng ating pagka Pilipino, ang Kultura at Sining,” he further stated.

Other participating SUCs are Aklan State University, Capiz State University, Guimaras State University, Central Philippines State University, Iloilo Science and Technology University, Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology, Northern Iloilo State University, State University of Northern Negros, West Visayas State University, and Carlos Hilado Memorial State University.
