CSC Commends UA for Sixty-nine years of Service

University of Antique was commended by Andre L. Ladigohon, CPA, MPA, Director II of Civil Service Commission, Antique Field Office, for staying rooted to its goal of transforming lives and building communities through provision of quality education and research and extension initiatives, on a talk during the Panudlak 2023 held at paghiUsA Hall last January 19.

Among the initiatives mentioned were eskUelA Learning Management System, E-hubs situated at the institution’s partner schools and local government units, Uswag in service training for faculty, Mass Production of PPEs, and Pag-UlikdAnay Community Pantry that helped UA to be one of the agencies nationwide recognized by the Civil Service Commission for their priceless contribution in mitigating the effects of COVID-19 in the community.

 

Ladigohon also recognized the contribution of UA to the socio-economic development of Antique.

“Countless graduates of this University are now in different sectors forming parts of our human capital. With the presence of UA in this province, education is more accessible to Antiqueños,” he further stated.

Furthermore, he left a challenge to the trailblazers, to pave the way and make a better UA for the future generation. /IAP
