As part of the University of Antique’s (UA) digitalization initiative, the Records Unit and Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) conducted a two-day training session on the Records Information Management System (RIMS) at Busalian Hall on April 28-29, 2025.

Unit heads and records custodians from across the university participated in the hands-on training that aims to improve the efficiency, security, and accessibility of records leading to smoother workflows and better compliance with regulations and legal standards.

Led by Mr. Jacinto P. Valera, ICTU Director, together with Mr. Alson S. Loquinario, Web Developer, the training covered key topics on records disposition schedule management, account management, messaging and notification, masterlist management, and records management.
