DOST conducts monitoring visit for DOST-PCIEERD-funded project at UA

The Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) and DOST- Provincial Science and Technology Center Antique, conducts a monitoring visit for the DOST-PCIEERD funded project entitled, “Establishment and Operationalization of Integrated Research and Development Laboratory (IRDL) in Antique” under the Infrastructure Development Program on its first year of implementation at University of Antique Main Campus, February 14.

According to IRDL, the activity will ensure that the implementation of the project is aligned with its target dates, outputs, and deliverables.

The project was implemented on January 1, 2022, and provided additional laboratory equipment, supplies, and facilities to the IRDL which complements the existing facilities bought by the University. It also capacitated the research laboratory to offer various laboratory services such as nutrient analysis, microbiological analysis, food sensory evaluation, and training services to students, faculty, and researchers./IAP
