Today, we commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, the peaceful uprising that ensured the triumph of democracy over dictatorship. We also honor the courage and bravery of the Filipino people and remember those whose lives were lost in the fight for our country’s freedom, especially the victims of Martial Law.

May we continue to remember our history and uphold the principles of democracy, protect our nation’s freedom, and choose the right leaders who will genuinely serve for the common good of the Filipino people and our beloved nation.
