Researchers, educators, and students convened at the Busali-an Hall today for the first day of Converging CAS Minds: Collaborative Research Across Disciplines Workshop, July 25, 2025.

Day 1 of the workshop features various sessions with distinguished Resource persons: Dr. Shirley N. Dita, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of English and Applied Linguistics, De la Salle University (DLSU), Dr. Ariel Robert C. Ponce, Associate Professor at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and Assistant Professorial Lecturer at DLSU, Dr. Annie Mae C. Berowa, Professor in the English Department at Mindanao State University (MSU) – Main Campus, and our very own Asso. Prof. Marvin C. Casalan, Director of Instructional Materials Development Unit.

This initiative is the fruit of a collaboration between the College of Arts and Sciences, Sentro ng Wika at Kultura, Instructional Materials and Development Unit, Student Welfare and Other Services Unit, and Quality Assurance Unit. It aims to develop the capability and capacity of the participants particularly in the field of Interdisciplinary Research.
