The University of Antique Research and Development Unit (UA RDU) conducted a one day Research Proposal Inception at the ICT-New AVR on April 5, 2022.

“The heart of every state university is research. Everything should be founded with research” Dr. Susan F. Atienza, Director of Research and Development Unit stated.

The whole day seminar focused on the presentation and defense of research proposals’ budget allocation that aims to provide and create projects that will cultivate strong researches relevant to the fields of specialization in the university.

The finance team headed by Dr. Ronilo A. Soriano, Vice President for Administration and Finance together with the university accountant and budget officers served as the panelists for the 23 research proposals presented by research coordinators from different colleges as well as external and internal campuses of the university.

“I myself as a professional researcher, I am also offering my expertise on research and extension and production” Dr. Atienza added as she encourages the faculty to conduct researches.
