
Delegation from Kalinga State University (KSU) are currently at the University of Antique for a Benchmarking Activity and Bamboo Project Knowledge Exchange from November 12-13, 2025.
Headed by Dir. Victorino D. Bayed, Project Leader of the Bamboo Project and Center Director, Watershed, the delegates aim to learn from UA’s initiatives in bamboo propagation, engineered bamboo production, and community-based bamboo enterprises as part of KSU’s steps in strengthening its Bamboo Project which integrates research, extension, and enterprise development.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, together with Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, Vice-president for Research, Extension, and Innovation (VP-REI), Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice-president for Academic Affairs, and members of the UA Executive Committee, personally welcomed the delegates as they kick-off their activities which include lectures and presentation of UA Niche on Bamboo, Campus Tour, and Community Extension Site Tour.
