Mr. John Kier Tangile, faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences is among the 40 finalists from all over the country for the Service Learning for English Teachers Program, a fully funded professional development program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State through the Regional English Language Office (RELO).

The said program will be hosted by the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) at Batac, Ilocos Norte from October 23–25, 2025. Network with fellow educators, learn innovative teaching methods, and bring new ideas back to his students.
