The Regional Civil Security Unit 6 personnel conducted an inspection of the Centralized Analytical Testing Laboratory (CATL), today, August 5, as part of the laboratory’s ongoing efforts to obtain a PNP license to purchase and handle controlled chemicals.

The team, composed of PCPT Richard Lumbres, PSSG Melbert Lawrence Sayson, and Gelbert Zonio together with UA Head Guard Rex T. Gindap, checked the various facilities including the storage of concentrated acids and CCTV cameras within the laboratory.

With the license, the laboratory which is headed by Mrs. Jessebel V. Gadot, Laboratory Officer, can purchase chemicals, such as nitric acid, that are necessary for various analytical analysis. This will widen the service of CATL reaching even the clients and businesses within and outside the province.

Together with the CATL personnel, the team also paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the President and checked the guard posts of the University.
