Tiripunan Bazaar composed of booths set up by different colleges and organizations, caters customers with food, pre-loved clothes, and faculty and students’ handmade products at University of Antique Traditional Knowledge Center.

According to Dr. Nelly E. Mistio, Campus Director, the said initiative aims to raise funds for the victims of typhoon Paeng, showcase the talents and products of the University, and develop camaraderie among the kasUbAys.

“This is a continous event until December 23. For every night there is an assigned group. Actually whatever funds they’ll generate, a portion will be shared with Typhoon Paeng victims”, Dr. Mistio stated.

A Belen was also placed at the center of the Bazaar where students, faculty, and the public can place the gifts that they want to share with the typhoon victims.

Tiripunan is Kinaray-a term for a gathering place./IAP
