Internationalization is going strong!

After the successful internship program with our Korean partner school, our students now have an opportunity to have their internship abroad, this time in Thailand and Hongkong, through UA’s partnership with Adapper Management Consultancy.

On a Hybrid International Internship Orientation for third year College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) students and parents, held today, March 5, Dr. Adalbert Alcaide, Program Director of Adapper Management Consultancy shared the requirements and advantages including the chance to be hired right after graduation once they choose to take their internship program abroad.

Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, and Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, Vice-president for Academic Affairs also assured the students and their parents who still have doubts, that the academe already has a very good experience in the past for international apprenticeship specifically citing sending students to Singapore ten years ago for their on-the-job training.

“The University of Antique is doing the best that it could to open rich learning opportunities for you here in the university and even outside of it. Our full support comes in establishing linkages even scheduling changes kung kinahanglan…” Dr. Alentajan further stated.

Dr. Crespo also added that working cross borders would give the students a different perspective for them to appreciate the present course that they have for the development of their skills so that they can contribute to the workforce of their chosen career.

Mrs. Jocy Flor Teologo, University registrar, Dr. Loyalda Bolivar, Dean of CBA together with program heads and internship coordinator were also present during the orientation which was organized by the International Affairs Office headed by its Director, Mrs. Jennelyn Omadio.
