To improve and provide first rate services to its clientele, University of Antique (UA) team visited Mabalacat City College (MCC), Pampanga and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Sta. Mesa, Manila to benchmark on the international programs and microcredentials, last March 11-13.

The UA team, composed of Dr. Jelyn O. Alentajan, Vice-president for Academic Affairs, Prof. Jennelyn O. Omadio, Director of International Affairs Unit, Prof. Marmon A. Pagunsan, Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, Mrs. Jocy F. Teologo, University Registrar, Prof. Shecky Mae Villavert, Director of External Affairs Unit, benchmarked on the Tourism and Hotel Management (HM) Level 4 of PUP, and Maritime Agency visits, Internship Opportunities, and Shipboard Training of MCC.

According to Prof. Omadio, the visit paved the way to create a partnership opportunity for academic activities between colleges and universities specifically when it comes to Researches, Internships, Cultural Exchange Programs, and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) program.

Among the facilities presented to the team were the Quality Assurance Center, Office of International Affairs, Office of the University Registrar, College of Tourism, Hospitality and Transportation Management’s best practices in Instruction, Students Services, facilities and infrastructure, and outcomes.
