Students from various programs under the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) went head-to-head in a battle of wit centered on the topic, “Cash Aid: The Best Path to End Poverty in the Philippines,” during the CAS Light Talks: Debate at Diskurso 2026, held today, March 17, at Paghi-UsA Hall.

This quarterly activity, organized by the college, aims to promote critical thinking, intellectual discourse, and active student engagement on relevant social and academic topics through events such as symposium, debates, and inter-program discourse.

CAS students from the Bachelor of Science in Community Development, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology programs actively participated during the said event.
