Congratulations to the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) major in Culinary Technology (CLT) students who showcased their skills and brought pride to the University at the 17th National Food Showdown held on October 16-17, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center.

Bringing home the silver medal, Arman Gordon, Cliff Daniel Francisco, and Jeff Lester Ardeño excelled in the Table Setting–Paraw Regatta Beach Wedding (Student Division). Meanwhile, Cian Erfred Coscolluela, Jezriel Ubay, and Mark Jerick Valdevieso secured the bronze medal in the Klasika/Moderna Kulinarya–Student Division, under the theme “Fiesta Ilongga.”

We also extend our congratulations and appreciation to their dedicated coaches, Adorcita R. Cabañero, MBA, Rizel Faith Ann A. Dawoud, Fretchy Jane Hiponia, Marie Ann J. Raymaro, PhD, and Angel Lou Mission, as well as their Area Head, Adrienne Victoriano Sabug, Program Head, Daryl Urbino, and Dean, Prof. Adrian for their guidance and support in preparing the students for the competition.
