UASG showcase Green Practices on 5th NYES

University of Antique Student Government (UASG) showcase the Dunang Manggad Eco-conservation Program: Green Practices of the University of Antique during the 5th National Youth Environmental Summit (NYES) at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City, March 1-4.

The green practices of the University such as, No Plastic Policy, balUnAn, Drinking Fountain Project, kUwAyan Project, and UA Goes Solar initiative, which aim to protect and conserve the environment were presented through public presentation, photo exhibit, and original song composition.

Moreover, UA candidates Erl Macavinta IV and Donna Lee Hojilla were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Green Philippines Visayas during the search for Mr. and Ms. Green Philippines.

This year’s NYES was themed “Youth Climate Action Toward Building Sustainable Peaceful and Resilient Schools,” and was participated by different Colleges, Universities, and organizations all over the country./IAP
