University of Antique is hosting the Dagyaw 2025 Open Government Townhall Meeting spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and Western Visayas Network of NGOs (WEVNET), at Paghi-UsA Hall of the Main Campus, October 8, 2025.

Coined from the Hiligaynon word “dagyaw” which means togetherness, the activity serves as a platform for a participatory government where government information is brought closer to the people to address several concerns that needs immediate attention.

With the theme “Kabataang Antiqueño: Mangin Protektado kag Responsable Para sa Masanag nga Paraabuton,” this year’s Dagyaw features sessions on teenage pregnancy and HIV/AIDS in the region especially in the Province of Antique, with Irene R. Duldoco, MPA, Health Education and Promotion Officer II, Integrated Provincial Health Office, and talakayan with Prof. Ramalo R. Amedo, and Shanti Georgen R. Santolices, representing the students.
