“I make this promise to you: … I will be a President for all—approachable, accountable, transparent, and always anchored in the best interests of the University of Antique,” Dr. Godelyn S. Gallega-Hisole declared during her Investiture on September 8, formally conferring upon her the authority to serve as the University of Antique’s third President.

The induction ceremony, including the conferment of academic regalia and symbols of authority, was officiated by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III, Chairman of the UA Board of Regents.

As the academe ushers in a new era of leadership under her helm, Dr. Hisole affirmed that her administration will embrace the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda as she unveiled her strategic roadmap anchored on three Pillars of Development: Institutional Academic Excellence, Operational Excellence and Branding, and Strengthening Resource Mobilization and Utilization.

“The road ahead will have its challenges, but I have never been more optimistic about our future. Together, anchored on the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda and driven by our three Pillars of Development, we will not just adapt to the future of higher education—we will define it,” she further stated.

Dr. Hisole also called on the faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners of the University to work together toward a shared vision, emphasizing the importance of the spirit of Bayanihan in navigating the University toward the same direction and advancing its mission in higher education.

The said investiture held at the PaghiUsA Hall of the Main Campus gathered leaders from various SUC and LUC, National Agencies, national, regional, and provincial Leaders, retirees, alumni, employees, and students.
