University of Antique seals partnership with Pandan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for the project, FUD of PMPC: Food Upgrading and Development of Pandan Multi-Purpose Cooperative through ExpertISE (Expert Intervention for Scientific Engagement) Program, at Pandan, Antique, May 13, 2024.

Signing in behalf of UA is Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, while Ms. Dedaci V. Nepomuceno, Chief Executive Officer, represented the PMPC. UA is also represented by Mr. Risty Clent E. Aquito, Admin Officer IV and Project Staff. 

The FUD of PMPC Project, funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) aims to obtain relevant skills and best practices in the daily dairy, bread, and meat industry operations; evaluate the conformance of the industry current food system in reference to the existing local regulations; conduct food safety and quality training/s to the Pandan MPC industry and; propose R&D innovations and improvements from the identified gaps in the dairy, bread, and meat industry operations.

The project is headed by Asst. Prof. jessebel Gadot, Project Leader, together with other proponents: Danica Marie Aposaga, Jemaica Labus, and Mr. Aquito.
