
On a significant step towards transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the academe’s processes and services, the Human Resource Unit (HRU) recently held a three-day Orientation on Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) Compliances and Citizens’ Charter Writeshop, November 17-19, 2025.
According to Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, the clear processes, faster response time, and friendly service to the stakeholders is what reminds them that government service can be humane, warm, and dignified.
With Atty. Charry Mae B. Valenzuela, Attorney III, and Mr. Raymond John D. Villanueva, Supervising Administrative Officer, as Resource Speakers, the participants were equipped with orientation on the Salient Features of RA 11032, Guidelines on the Citizen’s Charter Implementation in Compliance with RA 11032, Guidelines on the Implementation Zero Backlog Program, Guidelines on the Implementation of Harmonized Client Satisfaction Measurement, Guidelines on the Proper Complaints Handling, and Orientation on Re-engineering Plan.
The participants also underwent a workshop where they developed and presented outputs that underwent constructive critiquing for further enhancement.
