In pursuit of quality and relevant education, eight programs across the Main and Tario-Lim Memorial campuses are undergoing an Accreditation Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) beginning today, July 28-30, 2025.

With Prof. Nestor C. Competente from Rizal Technological University as Overall Coordinator, the AACCUP Accreditors will conduct its 3rd survey visit-phase 2 to Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering of the UA Main Campus, and 4th survey- phase 2 visit to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, and Bachelor of Secondary Education of the Tario-Lim Memorial Campus.

During the opening program, Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA President, highlighted that accreditation is a transformative process and not just for mere compliance. He highlighted that accreditation provides another layer of protection for the stakeholders, ensuring that the academe provide opportunities that is rooted to its vision which is to transform lives and build communities.

The various programs offered by the academe have been undergoing assessment, not only by the AACCUP, but also as part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
