As part of its continuing efforts to strengthen the academe’s capacity in handling breach incidents, the Data Protection Unit (DPU) holds a Data Breach Management Drill at Busali-an Hall today, December 16, 2025.

With Mr. Juancho F. Jamile, Data Protection Officer, as Resource Speaker, the drill aims to enhance awareness, identify gaps in current practices, and promote a culture of data privacy across the institution as UA continues to uphold the right to privacy of personal information and adheres to the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.

Present during the drill are the identified staff from various units and colleges of the Main Campus, as well as representatives from the campuses that comprise the UA System.
