Furthering its mission of environmental conservation, the academic leaders and student organizations of the University of Antique planted fruit-bearing tree seedlings through the “Luntiang Bukas: Kasubay Tree Planting and Growing Activity” at the Mini Forest today, June 19, 2026.

The activity was led by University President Dr. Godelyn G. Hisole, together with Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. May T. Delgado, Executive Director for Academic Affairs; Dr. Marie Ann Raymaro, Executive Director for Resource Management; Dr. Wilfredo Muhat, Director for Extension Services; Lt. Col. Yuri G. Gonzaga, Director of the National Service Training Program (NSTP); Prof. Wilma Fe S. Vego, Director of the Student Organizations and Activities Unit; and Dr. Christpeter F. Omayana, Adviser of the University of Antique Student Government (UASG).

Also participating in the activity were officers and members of the UASG, Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets, College of Criminal Justice Education interns, and representatives from various student organizations.
