
The Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VAA) in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) conducted an orientation on the new Learning Management System and Library Information System through a blended (face-to-face and online) modality today, September 23, 2025.
Resource speakers from the Pinnacle Technologies Inc., discussed the features and benefits of LMS and LIS as part of the School Information Management System of the academe, to faculty and students of the Main Campus.
Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice-president for Academic Affairs emphasized that these new tools and features will help the students study efficiently and the faculty to teach effectively provided they leverage these resources optimally.
Mr. Jacinto Valera, Information Technology Officer I, ensured that the new SIMS is modern, secured, and has a user-friendly system that will help users avoid redundant activities. He also announced the use of online payment that will be implemented next semester.
