Department of Science and Technology (DOST) partners with UA College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) in the conduct of Training on Calibration of Weighing Scales at Balay ni Juan, February 2-3.

Participated by Laboratory Custodians, Physics Teachers, and Engineers, the activity aims to capacitate them to conduct calibration services as the DOST plans to make the Metrology Testing Services available and accessible in the academe, Local Government Units, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the province.

According to Dr. Christine C. Vegafria, Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture, the college supports this activity as it plans to launch an extension program in relation to the calibration of weighing scales and to offer training to the people in the community./IAP
